Dear Colleagues and Dear Friends,

It is with great joy and a warm heart that I welcome you to the 13th Congress of the Asian Society for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions (ASCAPAP2027), to be held at the NTUH International Convention Center in Taipei, Taiwan, from December 2 to 5, 2027.

Under the theme “Advancing Brain, Mind, and Society for the Next Generation,” ASCAPAP2027 will bring together clinicians, researchers, educators, trainees, and allied professionals from across Asia and around the world. We hope to create a congress that is not only scientifically inspiring but also filled with energy, warmth, and genuine human connection.

My personal wish is that ASCAPAP2027 will be remembered not only for the knowledge we share, but also for the moments between sessions—the conversations that spark new ideas, the laughter around the table, the reunion of old friends, and the beginning of new friendships. Science brings us together, but friendship makes our community strong and enduring.

Whether this is your first visit to Taiwan or a return to a familiar place, I warmly invite you to experience Taipei—a vibrant city where tradition and innovation meet, and where rich culture, wonderful food, and heartfelt hospitality await you.
